This One UI 4.0 rumor is frustratingly vague

Samsung's proprietary Android interface, One UI 4.0, will be the next significant upgrade. It will be released alongside Android 12, which Google and a few other manufacturers are now testing with their customers ahead of a public release later this year. If history is any indication, Samsung will conduct its own One UI 4.0 beta test, but might it begin as soon as next week?

This One UI 4.0 rumor is frustratingly vague

Following the recent tweet from leakster Ice universe on Chinese microblogging platform Weibo, some have come to this conclusion. The message is painfully unclear, just stating that "One UI 4 will start to erupt next week." For the Galaxy S21 series, the firm has been testing One UI 4.0 and Android 12 for a few weeks, and possibly it will ramp up development in the coming days and begin testing it on additional devices? Maybe it implies we'll be receiving a very early beta program? It's difficult to know for sure.

This rumor about One UI 4.0 is frustratingly unclear.

If we're being honest, we don't think Samsung will allow us to test One UI 4.0 anytime soon, especially since Google is still beta testing Android 12 on Pixel phones. Maybe we'll be proven incorrect - after all, Samsung has made significant progress in its software update game in the previous year or two. But we're rather certain we won't. Even One UI 3.1.1 has yet to come, thus One UI 4.0 will not be available in beta or stable form any time soon.
