This is one Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Z Flip 3 leak you didn’t expect

Samsung is rumored to be working on a slew of new gadgets that will fight for consumers' attention and dollars, but sources disagree on when they will be released. The most that leakers could agree on was "sometime in August," which may not be enough time for some to make their financial plans. The latest information from the South Korean market appears to support a more plausible idea for Samsung's Unpacked 2021 event, which will reveal the company's next batch of mobile devices. Regrettably, one of them may not arrive as quickly as the others.

Samsung’s Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Flip 3 launch date revealed in new leak

Some sources suggest the Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Galaxy Z Flip 3 will be released on August 3, while others predict August 27. Both of those dates might be true, but in somewhat different ways. Samsung will introduce the gadgets in the first part of August, according to South Korea's Yonhap News Agency, and make them available for purchase before the end of the month.

More precisely, there's a chance that the Unpacked date of August 3 was close to being right, but because Samsung usually unpacks on Fridays, an August 6 date is more plausible. Nonetheless, according to the source, August 13 is also a possible date. The Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Galaxy Z Flip 3 will be available on August 27 in either case.

However, the foldable phones will not be the only ones on the stage. It will be joined by Galaxy Buds 2 and Galaxy Watch 4 accessories, as well as the Galaxy Watch Active 4. The final two will be particularly interesting because they are likely to run Wear OS rather than Samsung's Tizen operating system.

The Galaxy S21 FE will also be included, but its narrative will be told in a different way. Instead of releasing the smartphone in late August, Samsung is said to have postponed it until the fall, most likely in September. Part of the rationale was to focus more on the two new foldable phones, but a lack of processors, notably the Snapdragon 888, is said to have played a factor as well.
